Spaghetti alle Vongole

olive oil - 1/2 cup maybe
garlic - one clove, smashed
chili pepper - one piece
clams - the more the better
parsley - 1/4 cup ish fresh, very finely chopped
white wine - something cheap, 3/4 - 1 cup
spaghetti

1. Put the olive oil, garlic and chili pepper in the pan just as you put it on the flame, high heat. Cook 4-5 minutes until garlic starts to soften, don't let it brown.

2. Add the clams, parsley and wine, turn heat down to med-low, cover and let simmer, checking occasionally.

3. Add pasta to pan, turn heat up a little, add more wine if need, cook 2-3 more minutes. Serve immediately.
